Pitsidia
Der Ort Pitsidia befindet sich circa 4km vor Matala (=70 km südwestlich von Heraklion). Der Ort mit seinen etwa 700 Einwohnern ist wohl der älteste in dieser Gegend.

Es ist ein ruhiges, gemütliches Örtchen -bekannt für seine Tavernen mit deren traditioneller Küche. Besonders beliebt ist auch sein langer Sandstrand (Comos mit FKK-Bereich), der in ca. 15 Gehminuten zu erreichen ist.

This village with approx 700 inhabitants is the oldest in the area. It is 70km south west of Iraklion and 4km from Matala.
This quiet and cosy village is known for its tavernas producing traditional Cretan cuisine. Pitsidia has a long sandy beach and Comos beach is approx 15 minutes away on foot.
